I love it when I find a great masculine stamp set, and this "Stargazer" set from Close to My Heart was so much fun to color. I also used the scrapbooking papers from the collection of the same name. In fact, I used one of the more detailed papers as a guide for helping me choose Copic colors for my astronaut and rocket ship. This ensured all of my colors matched the papers. Keep reading for the step-by-step instructions.
How to Stamp an Astronaut Card:
Step 1: Stamp the images in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto Neenah cardstock. Use the following Copic markers to color in the stars, rocket ship, and astronaut: E00, E11, R24, R27, E23, E25, B24, B28, C3, C5, Y15, and Y18.
Step 2: Use the coordinating die set to fussy cut the stars, the astronaut, and the rocket ship.
Step 3: Use a tag die cut to cut a moon shape from yellow patterned paper.
Step 4: Use Veramark stamping ink to stamp the "Have a BLAST!" phrase onto black cardstock and heat set with white embossing powder.
Step 5: Assemble the card as shown, pop dotting the astronaut off the card.
